Collaborate with internal teams, such as Brand, Consumer Products, Finance, Operations, and Quality, to understand and meet sourcing needs.
Identify suppliers or service providers based on quality, cost, regulatory, and delivery performance.
Prepare and issue RFx documents, ensuring clarity in specifications and requirements.
Evaluate and select suppliers by conducting thorough due diligence, assessing reliability, production capabilities, and adherence to quality and ethical sourcing standards.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize value and minimize risk.
Support sourcing activities across indirect spend categories (e.g., services, facilities, logistics, marketing, IT) in alignment with operational, financial, and retail business needs.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations, and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure consistent supply.
Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers to discuss achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address performance issues.
Assess potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
Analyze the competitive landscape to make sure GoodMorning's products maintain a market advantage.
Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new sourcing opportunities, to ensure GoodMorning continuously offers products that its customers love.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve sourcing strategies to achieve company goals and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Track and report on key sourcing metrics and supplier performance data to identify improvement areas.
Support sourcing and negotiation activities related to retail operations, including service providers and retail store-related contracts, as needed.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a relevant area is advantageous.
At least 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with a specific focus on sourcing new products.
Proven track record in developing and executing sourcing tactics that have led to the introduction of high-quality, consumer products.
Working knowledge of indirect spend categories (services, facilities, logistics, marketing, IT) is an asset.
Understanding of procurement and sourcing regulations, product quality standards applicable in North America, and awareness of the global regulatory landscape affecting sourcing activities.
Experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
Strong asset: experience or solid understanding of the retail market, including retail lease structures and rental contract negotiation for physical store locations.

Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations of potential suppliers, considering quality, cost, reliability, and capacity, as well as sustainability and ethical practices.
Capability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities, ensuring business continuity.
