Shipping and Receiving Administrator

We provide parts, sales, and service for rock crushing, screening, drilling, and paving equipment. Our new Experienced Shipping and Receiving Administrator will be a personable team player, who is self motivated, eager to learn, and be able to work on their own in a fast-paced environment. This is a Full-time position- 40hours per week with some mandatory overtime required.

Job Description:

- Receiving, unpacking, and verifying the contents of incoming shipments

- Picking, packaging, and arranging for pickup of outgoing shipments

- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

- Unloading and loading freight with a forklift

- Entering shipments and receipts into the computer

- Shipping and Receiving Log Data Entry

- Parts and Freight Invoicing to Customers

- Aid with yearly stock returns to Vendors

- Getting freight rates for shipments and ensuring charges are accurate

- Prioritizing tasks and self-managing time

- Working both individually and collaboratively with team members

- Inventory Cycle Counts

- Evening and Weekend overtime required periodically

- On call every 3rd or 4th week

Candidate Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills, both digital and interpersonal

- The ability to multitask and to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs

- An aptitude for computer technology

- Minimum 2 years experience in shipping/receiving, including forklift experience

- A Grade 12 education and a valid Class 5 license

- Relevant workplace references
