Description

EF Education First is looking for an upbeat, motivated team player to join our Shipping & Logistics team in Cambridge, MA. In this role, you'll support order fulfillment, inventory control, and logistics operations while helping drive process improvements in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

As a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator at EF Education First, you'll play a key role in keeping our extensive fulfillment operations running smoothly. You'll provide excellent customer service to internal colleagues while managing external relationships with vendors and suppliers. Whether manage marketing inventory, developing your expertise of shipping software and equipment, or helping our businesses navigate the intricacies of global logistics you are always looking for creative ways to improve workflows and reduce costs. This is a hands-on role where you will learn to operate efficiently but where no two days are exactly alike. You'll be expected to multi-task, collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues, and bring energy and enthusiasm to everything you do.

The Role:

  • Fulfill orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory control
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal colleagues
  • Monitor marketing material supply and demand
  • Operate and maintain shipping software and equipment
  • Enhance and optimize production workflows
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute positively to team morale and culture

 

Who You Are:

  • Minimum High school diploma required
  • Experience in fulfillment, shipping/receiving, mailroom, customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office; comfortable learning new software and systems
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn technical systems including: Internal CRM, SharePoint, FX Ship Manager, and MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily goals

Compensation & Work Modality:

  • This position typically works from 9:00AM to 5:30PM in office Monday through Friday.

  • Compensation for this role is $51,000/year. This role is eligible for overtime for any hours over 40-hours per week with manager approval.
