Kristian Electric is seeking a Shipper/Receiver at our Edmonton branch. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, be intrinsically motivated, adaptable, demonstrate a positive attitude, and is ready to learn. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for packing and shipping products to customers and other branches, receiving all incoming product, putting product into inventory appropriately, and assisting in areas of inventory management and customer service to provide the best experience to vendors and customers.

Required Education & Experience:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

· Minimum 2 years of warehouse and shipping/receiving experience preferred

· Valid forklift operator certificate is an asset 

Responsibilities:

• Receiving parts from suppliers/vendors
• Staging parts appropriately in inventory for the order desk access and packing orders
• Packing and shipping parts orders to customers and suppliers including returns, warranty, etc.
• Receiving welding machines and chain hoists for repair via courier and/or transport services and                                                 communicating with appropriate service writers
• Packing and shipping repaired units back to customers
• Document shipping records daily
• Reporting damages and shortages correctly – contact appropriate vendor with information
• Perform and document inspection reports on relevant equipment – communicate with service writers and sales representatives
• General cleaning and maintenance duties of the warehouse, shipping/receiving bays, and yard (sweeping, organizing, general labor cleanup)
• Other duties may be assigned
