Senior Leader, Supply Chain and Operations

Our client is a food manufacturing company in the Vancouver area.

The Senior Leader, Operations & Supply Chain is responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing operations, supply chain performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production and delivery of high-quality food products while driving operational excellence through KPI management, people leadership, and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing and supply chain functions to achieve business objectives related to safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support company growth and customer requirements.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, capacity optimization, and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, regulatory, and workplace safety requirements.
• Optimize inventory levels while maintaining customer service targets.
• Manage supplier performance and supply continuity to minimize disruptions.
• Establish, monitor, and report on key operational and supply chain KPIs.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or a related manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success leading both operations and supply chain functions with teams over 50+ people.
• Strong experience with KPI-driven management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  
  

Salary 165-200,000 range depending on experience.
