Dasro is looking for a Senior SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst for one of its clients in Calgary, AB.

Position Overview

The Senior SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst is a functional specialist responsible for designing, configuring, validating, and enabling SAP S/4HANA–based supply chain processes that align business objectives with SAP standard capabilities and best practices. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring end‑to‑end supply chain processes are fit‑for‑purpose, scalable, and aligned with clean‑core principles. This role requires strong expertise in SAP Supply Chain modules and features deep familiarity with other key integrated SAP platforms like SAP Fieldglass and SAP Ariba, and how they interact with the S/4HANA Core.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, support, and enable SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain solutions and business processes. Lead process design workshops and recommend SAP best-practice solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Configure and support SAP Supply Chain modules including procurement, inventory, logistics, and sourcing processes. Manage integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and other enterprise applications.
• Apply a wide range of database management concepts to the IS infrastructure environments. Develop logical models incorporating business requirements such as high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery into the logical/physical database design.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
• Provide guidance on the SAP roadmap, upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Research, pilot, and evaluate new technologies and standards, identifying how they integrate with the corporate network and recommending strategies.
• Schedule, monitor, and provide reporting on team activities and deliverables, ensuring timely and effective handling of production problems and on-time, on-budget project deliverables. May oversee and guide multiple concurrent data management projects at a time.
• Work with internal stakeholders to evaluate, estimate, and prioritize support and service activities. Involved in highly complex matters and business processes that have an impact on the organization and involve Senior Management strategic decisions.
• Provide leadership to continuously improve business performance in terms of costs, client service, and customer relations. Mentor junior analysts, provide functional leadership across projects, and develop an environment that actively enables and encourages employee innovation, continuous improvement, and commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of experience in SAP applications and systems, with strong functional expertise in Supply Chain processes and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations, with hands-on experience in SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass integrations.
• Demonstrates broad-based knowledge of information technology, corporate data management, and stewardship. Shows a broad understanding of multiple database management systems or an in-depth knowledge of more than one database management system. Able to develop standards and procedures for implementing new database technology and provide effective strategic direction to corporate-wide data management.
• Proven ability to solve unusual problems or complex issues with a significant impact on the business without formal guidelines or precedents; exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy. Demonstrates expert knowledge and ability to apply competencies in the most complex situations, developing new approaches, methods, or policies for the company.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience leading large-scale SAP implementations and enhancements.
