Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Manager-Titling Operations provides leadership, ensures timeliness, and oversees daily title operations actions and compliance for all Consumer Vehicle Disposal (CVD) titling staff (PSX, PSDO, KBYC, and Trade-in Complete) remote and onsite across the US.  The individual in this role will coordinate with the Director, Used Car Operations to set goals and priorities, continually optimize the CVD titling process, increase titling capabilities of team members, and drive the daily productivity of the team.   

The Sr Manager, Titling Operations will be directly responsible for overseeing all daily actions of titling team members in the CVD business and for optimizing titling processes, setting and achieving titling SLAs, and ensuring the titling teams continually meet state and governmental title compliance requirements. The Sr Manager will partner extensively with the leader of Expansion and Compliance, the leader of Transactions, and other CVD managers. This leader is expected to work across the CAI org to leverage existing titling capabilities, knowledge bases, and technology to improve the throughput and accuracy of the CVD title teams.

Essential Functions: 

  • Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership for the work of title supervisors and individual contributor level employees to accomplish operational plans and results. 

  • With guidance from the Director, Used Car Operations, strategize and define the implementation of operational plans and results associated with Operations’ strategic plans. 

  • Has ownership of and accountability for the titling processes, systems, tools and applications utilized in titling operations  

  • Leads team to ensure detailed knowledge of each state’s title and registration-related requirements and regulations to deliver in-compliance registration and title work 

  • Utilizes tools and analyzes data on operational performance to ensure quality and reliability of all provided services 

  • Provides direction and guidance in the preparation of programs to assure adequate training and development of personnel to ensure optimal performance of individuals 

  • Collaborates with functional departments and business units to provide subject matter expertise on tilting processes 

  • Collaborates with product to improve consumer-facing workflows that support compliant, on time titling 

  • Estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work to direct reports to meet service and budget targets 

  • Collaborates with Business Analyst in compiling reporting metrics and identifying methods to increase efficiency and productivity  

  • Complete related or additional responsibilities required to support the growth of the business  

  • Travel requirement will reduce to approximately 15% upon completion of training, onboarding, and initial team meetings.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years experience in a related field; or 12 years experience in a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading and managing a team of direct reports

  • Experience in the creation of and execution against Titling SLA 

  • Requires extensive knowledge of motor vehicle titling policies, procedures, and titling across multiple states and optional knowledge of RTS, CMS titling process is bonus.

  • Experience working on cross-functional teams to define initiatives, implement processes and deliver results 

  • Strong analytical, communication and composition skills including Microsoft Office products

  • Advanced Excel skills in VLOOKUP, PivotTables and formulas

  • Strong PowerPoint skills for creating professional presentations

  • Must be familiar with AI tools for summarizing and synthesizing information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Tableau and Salesforce
