The Senior Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across Arcosa Wind Towers operations. This role drives material availability, cost optimization, supplier performance, logistics efficiency, and inventory management to support safe, on-time, and on-budget tower production.
This leader partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk, and improve working capital while supporting Arcosa’s growth, margin, and customer commitments. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

What you'll do:
- Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
- Develop and execute a Wind Towers supply chain strategy aligned to Arcosa’s EBITDA, safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Lead cross-plant supply chain standardization (procurement, planning, logistics, inventory controls, and supplier management).
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 4T’s, and data-driven decision frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (single-source suppliers, geopolitical risk, tariffs, transportation disruptions, etc.).
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Support sourcing strategy for steel plate, flanges, consumables, coatings, freight, and critical components.
- Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements, pricing, rebates, and long-term supply contracts.
- Establish supplier scorecards for cost, quality, delivery, safety, and responsiveness.
- Lead supplier audits, corrective actions, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Production Planning & Inventory
- Oversee demand planning, production material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity alignment with Operations.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels (raw, WIP, finished goods) to balance service levels and working capital.
- Reduce inventory turns, stockouts, premium freight, and expediting costs.
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, S&OP, and cost modeling.
- Logistics & Transportation
- Optimize inbound and outbound logistics (truck, rail, port, international freight).
- Manage freight contracts, carriers, and 3PL partners.
- Reduce transportation cost per ton while improving on-time delivery performance.
- Compliance, Safety & Governance
- Ensure all suppliers and logistics partners meet Arcosa safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Support ARC100, EHS compliance, and contractor safety requirements.
- Maintain SOX controls, purchasing authorization limits, and audit readiness.
- People Leadership
- Lead and develop site supply chain managers, buyers, planners, and logistics teams.
- Build bench strength and succession plans across Wind Towers supply chain roles.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in heavy manufacturing, steel, energy, or large fabrication environments.
- Multi-site experience strongly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier development background.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, S&OP, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to drive cost reduction, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time salaried position
- This position involves frequent travel to manufacturing sites within the assigned region.
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate 3 shifts and frequent weekend shifts
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Candidates should be comfortable working in industrial environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
