Position Overview
Johnson & Johnson MedTech Supply Chain (MTSC) Source Finance team is recruiting a proactive and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to support the Wound Closure & Health (WCH), Aesthetics & Reconstruction (A&R) and BioSurgery (BIO) franchises within the Surgery business, which have annual direct material spend of over $550 million across a sophisticated global network of materials & suppliers.
The MTSC Source Finance team is a fast-paced, dynamic group with global impact, supporting MedTech Center Procurement and Surgery End-to-End Supply Chain to drive financial insights around direct material purchases and enable high quality, reliable, and cost-competitive products. Operating at the intersection of Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement, this role offers significant exposure to senior finance and business leadership and provides a strong platform for future career growth within Johnson & Johnson. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing monthly Purchase Price Variance (PPV) actuals, collaborating with business partners for both short-term and long-term forecasting, shaping future‑state processes, and ensuring financial integrity and compliance across the business.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Source Finance lead to support the global WCH, BIO, A&R Procurement and Supply Chain teams
Forecast, track, and analyze purchase price variances (i.e. cost improvement projects, market-driven price increases, tariffs, and other raw material surcharges) in close partnership with the Procurement organization
Independently drive the month end close cycle by analyzing large datasets, collaborating with subject matter experts to glean insights, preparing commentary, and presenting results to both Source and SC leadership
Partner with Surgery PMO to proactively track and validate business cases behind cost savings (for both existing products and upcoming new product launches), operational expenses, and capital expenditures
Bring a continuous improvement mindset to live into CFIN/Anaplan go-lives for MTSC, challenge the status quo, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes CFIN/Anaplan go-lives for MTSC
Ensure compliance is kept at the forefront with respect to both general accounting and J&J Procurement policies & procedures
Facilitate complete and accurate annual standard cost setting with Procurement business partners across hundreds of suppliers and thousands of individual SKUs
Support ad hoc business needs in a sophisticated, matrixed environment

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. A CPA, CMA, or MBA are also preferred.
A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required.
Supply Chain (Finance or Ops) experience preferred.
Must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
The ability to establish, maintain, and improve business processes is required.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel & PowerPoint) is required
Experience in SAP, TM1, Anaplan, PowerBI, and JDE is preferred.
The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and have experience building and implementing financially viable business models.
The candidates must have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a hybrid team environment, and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
