GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

To perform general clerical, telephone communication, typing, computer functions and other related duties.  Detailed instructions will be administered by the immediate supervisor.

 

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

    1. Communication with staff, parents/guardians and the public and other departments.
    2. Responds to the daily activities relating to student transportation throughout the District.
    3. Prepare correspondence, reports, purchase orders, requisitions, invoices and entering information into Alio.
    4. Coordinate services including billing, extra curricular trips, student work sites, for school related transportation needs for extracurricular activities, student work sites, and other requests as needed.
    5. Provide support to Technical Assistant in maintaining the accuracy of all student information in the student transportation management system, transitioning to Traversa Routing Software.
    6. Provide support for Technical Assistant and Transportation Manager
    7. Knowledge of Aspen, Alio, Traversa, & Google Suite Experience, preferred.
    8. Other related duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ability to make accurate tabulations and computations; the ability to readily understand and carry out directions, both oral and written; reasonable speed and accuracy in typing and must be able to meet or exceed minimum standards set in regards to applicant testing; the ability to communicate orally with staff and the public; should be familiar with office equipment, including but not limited to: computer, calculator, telephone, photocopier and familiarity with applicable software applications, preferred, but not required and the ability to perform duties with awareness of school department requirements and policies.

 

EDUCATION:  

Such as may be gained through graduation from a senior high school or equivalent (GED), including or supplemented by business course work, keyboarding and computer software application.  Business college or technical school graduate preferred.  Previous personnel experience preferred.
