As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access control by checking credentials, screening visitors and employees, and supporting security-related inspections at entry points. You will stay visible, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to help spot and help to deter concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by checking identification, verifying authorization, and controlling access at entry and exit points.
• Monitor and document inbound and outbound activity, including vehicle flow, trailer movements, and deliveries and/or pickups, and report irregularities per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and perform security-related checks of doors, gates, docks, and staging areas as conditions vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6+ months of security experience is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
