Security Officer - Transportation Patrol

As a Security Officer - Transportation Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation-related location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter within the transportation location to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual occurrences.
• Monitor and report on activities or incidents that may impact the security-related protocols of the location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards at all times.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding all incidents and activities observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
