As a Security Officer - Overnight Logistics Guard in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet team members and visitors, respond to questions, and document observations with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, trailer yard, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or load information, directing vehicle traffic, and maintaining visitor and driver logs.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, document observations, and prepare reports for shift activity, incidents, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
