Security Officer - Logistics Entry Control

As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Control in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your role includes monitoring entrances, managing badge access, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at access points.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and observe for unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, and access violations in accordance with company guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
