The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Ag Solutions, the Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Ag Solutions business serving the Strongfield area, with the role based out of the Strongfield Ag Solutions office.

This role is suited for an experienced agriculture leader who understands crop input, financial performance, and team leadership in a fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive environment. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and building strong relationships with local producers.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide leadership and oversight for sales, operations, and team performance for the Ag Solutions business serving the Strongfield area
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with growers while identifying new sales opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Ag Solutions team with a focus on accountability, safety, and performance
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant daily operations across the facility, yard, and fleet
  • Manage budgets, inventory, margins, and forecasting to achieve financial targets
  • Execute supplier programs, business plans, and practical digital ag solutions that support customers

 

What You Will Need

  • Diploma or Degree in Agriculture
  • Relevant agriculture experience, including in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of crop input operations and seasonal agriculture
  • Financial and operational confidence, with experience managing margins, inventory, and risk
  • Certified Crop Advisor designation, or willingness to obtain
  • A practical, accountable leadership style with a strong commitment to safety
