We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role could be based in Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles or New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The RX Operations Manager will oversee operational aspects of the practice focused on process management and improvement, compliance adherence, and development and management of new service offerings development. This role will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless service delivery from project launch through client delivery. The Operations Leader will oversee financial evaluations, renewal strategies, business placements, benchmarking, and project tracking, while fostering strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal Mercer teams.

Support business growth by enabling expanded service offerings amongst cross-functional teams
Provide operational support in enabling adherence to compliance related aspects of the practice
Align departmental goals with overall company objectives
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective business processes
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards; manage risks proactively
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business needs
Lead change management initiatives to adapt operations to evolving business environments
What you need to have:

8+ years of progressive operational leadership in relevant industries
BA/BS degree
Compliance and Risk Management: Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operational technologies and software tools.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
