Job Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with individuals or groups, verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, and associates).
Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the facility by monitoring trash levels in compactors, open-top containers, and trash lines; removing and baling cardboard from the trash line; and reporting trash levels as needed.
Process merchandise and pallets by moving pallets to staging areas and put-away locations using power equipment.
Ensure sufficient quantities of boxes are available for order fillers by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
Custodial Operations
Safely and correctly perform facility upkeep activities, including cleaning and maintaining internal areas of the facility.
Operate sweepers and scrubbers, completing assigned work in a timely and effective manner.
Identify unsafe working conditions, poor-quality products, or improper service procedures, and report them to management along with recommendations for improvement.
Ensure facility upkeep equipment is in proper working order and that supplies are organized and adequately stocked.
