The Remote Regional Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple teams of field technicians in the commissioning and start-up of critical cooling air handling systems across a designated region. This role involves strategic coordination and operational oversight to ensure timely, safe, and efficient project execution. They will remotely manage, through subsequent managers, the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Position Responsibilities may include:
• Operational Oversight: Manage the performance and operations of critical cooling air handlers across multiple teams and locations, ensuring they meet performance standards and operational goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of remote site managers, coordinators, technicians; providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing culture.
• Project Management: Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects for air handling systems, ensuring timely execution within budget and compliance with safety regulations.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement and utilize performance metrics to assess the efficiency and reliability of cooling systems. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational processes.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional operational strategies that align with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and service enhancements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for regional clients, vendors, and internal teams. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure client satisfaction and operational success.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operational activities, project updates, and compliance documentation. Prepare regular reports for senior management on regional performance and initiatives.
• Define Project Objectives and Milestones: Establish specific commissioning goals, project timelines, and ensure all teams are aligned.
• Resource Allocation: Assign field technicians based on experience, workload, and regional needs. Oversee scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Logistics: Arrange remote support, parts delivery, and other resources to ensure smooth operations.
• Remote Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Use remote monitoring tools to track commissioning progress, identify issues, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Problem-Solving and Escalation: Guide the field team through technical issues and escalate complex problems to engineering teams when necessary.
• Quality Control: Conduct remote inspections and oversee the testing procedures to confirm that the installations meet technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Skill Development: Identify training needs and arrange remote or on-site training sessions to enhance team skills in commissioning air handlers.
• Performance Feedback: Provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure technicians perform to their best abilities and meet project benchmarks.
• Regular Updates: Communicate progress, key milestones, and any challenges with clients, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure field teams deliver exceptional service, addressing client concerns quickly and effectively to maintain positive relationships.
• Safety Protocols: Ensure all field personnel follow safety guidelines, especially when working in critical environments with high-risk machinery.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety risks, supporting the team in adhering to OSHA or industry-specific safety standards.

Knowledge & Skills:
• Proven experience in operations management, project management, or facilities management, with a focus on HVAC or cooling systems.
• Strong technical understanding of critical cooling air handlers and associated technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop remote teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and remote collaboration tools.
Experience:
• 12+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of people managment
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
