Position Overview:

The Raw Material Inventory Analyst plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational efficiency across Canada Goose’s supply chain network. This position is responsible for analyzing and reconciling raw material inventory data, facilitating cycle count programs, and preparing reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements. The Analyst partners closely with raw material warehouses, production facilities, and other internal teams to uphold best practices in inventory control, resolve discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in inventory management processes. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain and monitor inventory accuracy across all raw material warehouses and production facilities 

  • Facilitate and report on cycle count activities, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal control standards 

  • Analyze inventory transactions, identify root causes of discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions 

  • Perform daily ERP transactions, including raw material transfers, sweeps, and adjustments 

  • Support direct buy (CD capsule, Snow Goose, etc.) shipping and receiving activities 

  • Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of raw materials 

  • Partner with the Inventory Coordinator and Supervisor to resolve systemic and operational inventory variances 

  • Prepare and maintain reports on key metrics, including accuracy, adjustments, and audit findings 

  • Ensure adherence to inventory control policies, SOPs, and documentation requirements 

  • Support inventory-related projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy 

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth daily operations 

 

Lets's Talk About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain within a high-growth environment 

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field 

  • Certification in Supply Chain (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) considered an asset 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and reconcile data from multiple sources 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced) 

  • Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, and/or Power Query 

  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Sound understanding of inventory control principles, documentation, and compliance standards

  • Achieve and maintain 99.9% raw material inventory accuracy across manufacturing and storage facilities 

  • Timely completion of cycle counts, sweeps, and inventory reconciliations 

  • Accurate and up-to-date KPI reporting 

  • Strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
