JOB SUMMARY

Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • During periods of downtime, clean and/or sweep floor
  • Keep area neat and orderly
  • Be knowledgeable of all job functions related to receiving UPS
  • Work as a team player with members of the crew and others in the plant
  • Adhere to all Red Gold policies, rules and regulations, including GMP’s and safety
  • Perform duties as directed by the supervisor, or manager of the shipping department
  • Clean empty railcars upon arrival
  • Secure product loads in cars with air bags and other dunnage
  • Prepare pallets with dunnage prior to staging / loading

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual labor related tasks.
  • Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects.

·         Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements

·         Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management
