Les Attaches Industrielles Uscan, a Richelieu Hardware distribution center, is seeking to fill a temporary full‑time Packaging Planner position for its office located in Dollard‑des‑Ormeaux.

Reporting to the Senior Director, your role will include coordinating all purchasing‑related activities for Uscan, supporting the Purchasing Director in planning the packaging of our products, and following up with our local packagers. You will also contribute to integrating identified activities into Uscan’s business processes.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of a Packaging Planner include:

  • Conducting weekly analysis of local packaging needs
  • Planning transfers of raw materials and packaging products
  • Executing urgent (“rush”) packaging jobs to avoid backorders
  • Following up with local packagers
  • Understanding all logistics related to procurement
  • Identifying opportunities and improvement initiatives to optimize processes
  • Performing any other related tasks

Requirements:

  • College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of purchasing experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with local suppliers
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Rigorous follow‑up on assigned files
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to analyze and identify improvement opportunities
