Production Assembler- Marine Division

Scotty Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This position requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.

Duties

• Assemble components and products according to specifications .
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Fabricate parts as needed to meet production requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Follow all operating processes and use all relevant WCB safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned as part of product assembly

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal
• Manual dexterity required with small components
• Attention to detail and an interest in learning is important to succeed
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools, lathes, drill press is an asset
• Handling both raw materials and finished goods
• A flexible and strong team player that can work in a varied environment
• Essential physical requirements- sitting, standing, and bending as needed
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs safely
