Role Details:
The Procurement Specialist – Equipment & MRO plays a critical role within Visy, reporting directly to the Category Procurement Manager – Equipment & MRO. You will be responsible for managing sourcing activity, running tender processes, and providing procurement support across Equipment and MRO Spares categories.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage tenders and RFPs within the Equipment & MRO Spares category
- Issue formal tender documents, lead commercial evaluations, and negotiate with suppliers to secure sustainable commercial outcomes
- Drive cost savings and deliver fit‑for‑purpose, value‑aligned procurement solutions for the business
- Support and lead procurement negotiations, and develop strong supplier networks to build and maintain an approved vendor base
- Provide commercial support to stakeholders across sites, ensuring adherence to procurement and compliance requirements
- Act as a key contact for the execution, communication, and roll‑out of negotiated contracts
- Monitor and support compliance to supplier agreements and KPI targets across operations
What You Will Bring:
- Solid procurement/sourcing experience, ideally in MRO
- Background in manufacturing procurement
- Strong negotiation and contract execution skills
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and supplier relationship capability
- Ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities and deliver value
- Skilled in tender preparation, commercial evaluations, and TCO‑focused procurement
