POSITION TITLE: Procurement Specialist

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and sourcing activities across the organization.  This role assists in the procurement of goods and services, maintains vendor relationships, and ensures compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, exceptionally customer centric, a skilled communicator, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the end-to-end sourcing process; includes assisting with bidding and supplier evaluations
  • Collaborate internally with operations, finance, and other internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements, timeline and specifications
  • Create and process purchase orders accurately and in accordance with internal approval workflows
  • Monitor order status and proactively follow up with vendors to ensure materials are delivered on time and in full; communicate delays or changes
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including POs, pricing agreements, invoices and delivery documentation to track supplier performance, ensure pricing accuracy, and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Assist in identifying and resolving vendor-related issues, including product quality concerns, delivery discrepancies, or invoicing mismatches
  • Provide administrative and analytical support during contract negotiations by assisting with pricing review, documentation, and ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Performs other position duties when requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, copy/fax, and smartphones
  • When working on site, we are required to wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots etc...

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management required
  • Experience within a construction environment/industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Drivers License required

This role pays between $80,000 and $100,000 a year depending on the level of skills and experience.
