The role of the Vendor Relationship Management Analyst is to support the growing vendor management function through RGA's procurement function. This is a new role that will help to build out the vendor management process for key suppliers and vendors. RGA has invested in new process, policies, and systems to help manage vendors and this role will assist in the deployment of a robust relationship management process.
Principle Duties:
Vendor Selection, Segmentation, and Onboarding: The analyst identifies, evaluates, and selects new vendors, and manages the onboarding process for new and existing vendors.
Contract Management: They manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This includes tracking key contract terms (SLAs), renewals, and amendments.
Performance Monitoring: The analyst monitors vendor performance against agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Risk Management: The analyst assesses and mitigates potential risks associated with vendors, such as financial instability, security breaches, or supply chain disruptions.
Relationship Management: They build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as a point of contact for communication and issue resolution.
Reporting and Analysis: The analyst prepares reports on vendor performance, costs, and other relevant data, providing insights to management.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in either Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management or relevant work experience required
Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) preferred
Work Experience
2+ Years of work experience preferably in procurement, vendor management, or sourcing discipline required
Licenses and Certifications
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM or APICS) required
Skills & Abilities:
Well organized and can organize around deadlines or competing priorities required
Highly motivated with a pro-active work approach and ability to effectively prioritize and make things happen. ‘Can do’ attitude. required
Ability to work harmoniously within the team environment and be able to communicate with a wide range of audiences outside of procurement and finance. required
Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, and deliverables. required
Clear communication skills, both written and presentation skills required
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities required
Excellent attention to detail required

Compensation Range:
$89,310.00 - $134,870.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
