TRIUMF's Procurement department is looking to hire a Procurement Manager to join their team.
The Procurement Manager oversees the Procurement team within the Supply Chain function of TRIUMF. Primary responsibilities encompass team management, mentorship, enhancing procurement efficiency to minimize turnaround times, streamlining work processes for cost-effectiveness, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to all stakeholders, including internal departments and external suppliers.

The Procurement Manager provides direct supervision to procurement specialists and assistants, including responsibility for performance planning and review, workload assignment, training, and professional development. The incumbent also provides technical oversight and guidance to other TRIUMF staff involved in purchasing or contract-related activities, ensuring adherence to procurement standards and best practices.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or with a work permit valid for at least 18 months after the start date.
Salary: $104,805 CAD plus our comprehensive employer-paid benefits plan
