JOB TITLE: Procurement Buyer I
LOCATION: Onsite in North Reading or Westborough, MA
DURATION: 3 months with potential extension
PAY RANGE: $20 - $28/hr.

Managing end-to-end procurement activities for at least 3 programs. Acting as the primary procurement point of contact between program teams, hardware/deployment stakeholders, and external suppliers. Issuing POs and ensuring timely equipment deployment.

- Proven willingness to learn internal tools/programs and execute deep-dive root-cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of procurement platforms, Basic Microsoft Office (Excel), and technical literacy.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Buyer will assist the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog, and managing pricing. Managing end-to-end procurement activities for at least 3 programs. Acting as the primary procurement point of contact between program teams, hardware/deployment stakeholders, and external suppliers. Issuing POs and ensuring timely equipment deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- New product launch & coordination
- Maintaining product cost, retail price, content and images, vendor relations, and assisting with special projects.
- Additional responsibilities include supporting and training as a backup to the Control Buyer.
- Reviewing daily program deployment schedules at sites.
- Ensuring Purchase Orders accurately reflect schedules as the operational source of truth.
- Coordinating supplier deliveries against timelines.
- Identifying and proactively escalating delivery/supply risks to internal engineering and deployment teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful candidates will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented
- Have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- An understanding of data management and databases is also a plus.
- Must be able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must.

- Minimum 1 year in a procurement or purchasing role.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
