Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Indirect Supply Chain Procurement Agent, reporting to the Indirect Supply Chain Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office.


The Indirect Supply Chain Procurement Agent will join a dynamic team of professionals and perform activities related to committing company resources to purchase indirect goods and services, developing supplier strategies, preparing bid packages, analyzing proposals, developing contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.


Position Responsibilities:

• Integrates program, customer, product and strategies into RFX packages, source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies

• Development and execution of commodity strategies

• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions

• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.

• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management

• Process consumable spot buy requisitions and purchase orders promptly; obtain competitive quotes and monitor supplier confirmations

• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

• Resolve supplier issues and expedite items as needed; escalate concerns for visibility

• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

• Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal stakeholders, and peers, including the ability to gain rapport and engage with internal and external stakeholders

• Work directly with suppliers and operations to resolve emergent issues

• Maintain Boeing and supplier metrics collaboratively and ensure jointly reviewed

• Participates and lead supplier performance reviews and cross functional improvement teams

• The candidate should demonstrate strong business acumen, written and verbal communication skills as well as adept problem-solving ability


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain experience, or Procurement practices and processes

• Experience working in SAP or another MRP system

• Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time internationally/domestically

• Must be legally able to work in Canada

• Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods

• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data


Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain with MRO experience, or Procurement practices and processes

• Post-secondary education

• Project management experience or certification

• Experience working with capital procurements

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

• Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role


Compensation:

$19.03/hr to $24.94/hr


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
