RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Coordinates physician practice operations and provides administrative support to management of the physician practice(s). Proactively supports efforts that ensure efficient operations and may function as a working supervisor. Oversees a small (1 to 3 physicians) practice or assists practice manager with a large (6+ physicians) practice(s).
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
In lieu of degree, three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of medical office, healthcare, or related experience required.
(If no degree, a total of six (6) years of experience required).
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
