Plant Materials, Shipping & Transportation Manager

Lead the heartbeat of our plant by ensuring every pallet, package, and rail car is where it needs to be—safely, accurately, and on time.

Your mission

• Run warehouse and shipping operations, inclusive of transportation planning and execution.
• Direct and develop a team coordinating raw materials, waste, and finished goods through the warehouse.
• Maintain proper rotation of raw and finished inventory; ship finished goods in full compliance with company and customer standards.
• Own shipping KPIs: track, analyze, and elevate productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Align material movement with production demand and rail car schedules.
• Champion safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness for the warehouse, docks, and equipment.
• Deploy SOPs and 5S to drive process improvements that cut costs and improve accuracy and customer service.
• Guard inventory accuracy with routine cycle counts and compliance controls.
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes to boost plant performance, optimize workflow, and increase efficiencies.
• Oversee inventory and materials management across raw materials and finished goods.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing operations or production management.
• Proven experience with lean, continuous improvement, and operational problem-solving.
• Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control, cost management, and distribution techniques.
• Clear, confident communicator; self-starter with initiative.
• Exceptional organization and time management; detail-driven.
