Position Summary
The People Operations Administrator plays an integral role in supporting the operational effectiveness of the People Operations department. Based in our corporate office in American Fork, UT, this role serves as a central liaison for day-to-day HR inquiries and drives administrative compliance across the employee lifecycle. From onboarding to offboarding, this position ensures seamless execution of People Operations processes, maintains data accuracy within our HRIS (BambooHR), and upholds a high standard of service that reflects the Luv Bridal brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding People Operations inquiries including benefits, payroll, leave administration, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records within BambooHR, ensuring alignment with compliance, audit, and confidentiality protocols.
- Administer full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire documentation, system setup, orientation coordination, and exit logistics.
- Prepare and manage employment verifications, internal correspondence, and policy acknowledgments.
- Assist in benefits administration, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and open enrollment coordination through Employee Navigator.
- Monitor leave of absence requests and track compliance with documentation requirements and timelines.
- Ensure People Operations files are organized and compliant with federal, state, and company retention requirements.
- Support communication initiatives by drafting and distributing announcements and internal updates in partnership with the Director of People Operations.
- May assist in talent acquisition tasks such as job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for investigations, corrective action documentation, and internal audits.
- Uphold a culture of service, confidentiality, and professionalism within all People Operations transactions and interactions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with the planning and execution of HR-related events, such as employee recognition programs or training sessions.
- Providing support for various People Operations initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of People Operations or Human Resources experience required.
- Familiarity with employment law, confidentiality protocols, and HR administrative practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR and Employee Navigator preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and commitment to documentation integrity.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This role operates in a professional office environment.
- Extended periods of computer-based work and desk time required.
- Occasional lifting of materials (up to 25 lbs) may be required.
