Basic Function:
Peer Interventionist will work on a travel and transportation study for young adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) (18 years of age and older). The Peer Interventionist will be responsible for teaching the core travel training curriculum and implementing one-on-one travel training.

Education/Training/Experience
A Peer Interventionist is someone who has the similar lived experiences and a diagnosis of an IDD. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required and experience using public transportation in and around Manchester. The ability to utilize public transportation system independently is necessary. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
*Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, the individual is regularly required travel throughout Manchester.
