The Operations Supervisor is a critical role in ensuring that McGee Air Services delivers best in class ground handling services. The operational supervisor is charged with monitoring the performance of the operation, supervising McGee Teammates, and building an environment where safety, team member engagement and operational performance are paramount.
The Operations Supervisor anticipates operational needs, makes required adjustments to respond to challenges, and provides the team and leadership with information to ensure a successful operation. This role collects operational and safety information and translates it into various briefings, in time report outs and formal reporting for team members, leadership, and customers. As a leader within our operational team, we expect the Operations Supervisor(s) to engage in honest two-way communication with our staff to promote a safe, well-run operation and a promote a positive work environment for our teammates.
Operational Supervisors will be hired into specific functional areas, such as Ramp, Fleet, Safety etc. As such, the specifics of the job will vary across the functional areas, but the below responsibilities and qualification are required and expected for any Operational Supervisors.
Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
Important update for non-crew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. Pay
The hiring range for this position is $29.54 - $32.91 per hour.

Physical Demands & Work Conditions
Lifting/Carrying: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry baggage and cargo weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds or more. This often involves lifting items onto raised surfaces or into confined aircraft bins.
Movement:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and twisting for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts or more).
Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work in cramped or high places.
Manual dexterity required for handling documents and operating equipment.
Driving/Operating Equipment: Must be able to operate various ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, which requires a valid driver's license and the physical capability to do so safely.
Vision/Hearing: Clear vision (including depth perception and peripheral vision) and hearing are required for monitoring flight information, communication via radio/headsets, and safety compliance in a noisy environment.
Outdoor Exposure: The job is performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Noise and Environment: The work environment is very noisy, near active aircraft engines and ground support machinery, and may involve exposure to fumes, dust, and other airborne particles. Hearing protection is usually provided and required.

Union Information
This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Per the CBA, work schedules are awarded based on seniority. New hires are awarded their initial shift based on operational need. Therefore, the company cannot guarantee certain days off.
