About the Role

Stampede Moving & Storage is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor / Dispatcher to join our team immediately. This is a key leadership position responsible for coordinating daily moving operations, dispatching crews and trucks, managing schedules, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a highly organized, dependable leader who can manage people effectively, solve problems quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate moving crews and company vehicles
• Manage daily schedules and operational logistics
• Supervise movers, drivers, and field staff
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
• Monitor truck usage, maintenance requirements, and fleet operations
• Handle customer inquiries and operational challenges
• Communicate effectively with customers, crews, and management
• Maintain operational records and reports
• Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of staff

Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or moving operations
• Strong knowledge of trucks, fleet coordination, and routing
• Experience managing and supervising employees
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Moving industry experience is a major asset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse teams
• Additional language skills are considered an asset
• Proven ability to lead crews and maintain accountability
