Operations Manager

Active Tree services are on a hunt for an operations manager who is responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure service delivery consistently meets contractual requirements across our VIC Council contracts. This is a key leadership role focused on driving performance, ensuring compliance, achieving financial targets, and fostering a high-performing and safety-focused culture. The successful candidate will play an integral part in strategic decision-making while building strong stakeholder relationships and continuously improving operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure contract compliance and service excellence
• Lead, mentor, and support operational teams to achieve performance targets
• Manage budgets and financial performance in line with business objectives
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and contractual obligations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational practices
• Contribute to strategic planning and contract management
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Promote a high-performance culture by leading by example

 Do you have-

• Proven experience in an Operations Management role
• Experience in Contract Management through service contracts or facilities management
• Achieved exceptional Workplace Health & Safety outcomes
• Ability to influence and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
• Understand general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss and balance sheets
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
• Valid and unrestricted driving licence

 Great, but not essential:

• White card
• First aid/CPR
• MR/HR Truck Licence
