Role Overview
The Operations Manager will establish and lead Triumph Group of Companies’ operational presence in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario market. The role combines regional operations leadership, project coordination, and business development, supporting multiple divisions. You will help develop the company’s Ottawa Shared Services platform, supporting projects across Eastern Ontario including Kingston, Brockville, Cornwall, and surrounding regions.This role requires a leader who is comfortable operating in a growing regional platform environment, balancing operational execution with client relationship development.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to establish and strengthen Triumph Group of Companies’ presence in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario market while supporting profitable project execution across multiple divisions. You will build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, and consultants, while effectively coordinating with GTA based teams to ensure projects in the region are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company quality and margin expectations. Over time, the role will contribute to developing a coordinated regional platform that supports new project opportunities, provides valuable market intelligence to leadership, and reinforces Triumph’s reputation for disciplined project delivery and long-term client partnerships.

What You Bring to the Table
Technical Skills
- 10–15+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in ICI (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional) construction environments.
- Proven experience working as a Senior Project Manager with a general contractor or a regional/branch manager within a building envelope contractor.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting the full construction project lifecycle, including preconstruction, bidding, project execution, and closeout.
- Established relationships or working familiarity with general contractors, developers, and consultants in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario construction market.
- Ability to review drawings, scopes of work, project specifications, and construction documentation to support operational discussions and project coordination.
- Experience supporting client relationship development, business development initiatives, and strategic project pursuits within the construction industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, consultants, and industry partners within the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario market.
- Identify new opportunities that aligned with Triumph’s services including building envelope systems, façade work, heritage restoration, and sustainability solutions.
- Coordinate with GTA based project teams to support successful execution of Ottawa-area projects.
- Participate in project meetings, site coordination, and client discussions as required to support regional project delivery.
- Support the mobilization and coordination of field supervision resources when projects are active in the region.
- Assist with prequalification submissions, proposal support, and strategic project pursuits.
- Provide regional market intelligence related to project pipelines, contractor activity, and industry developments.
- Support operational planning to ensure projects maintain quality standards, schedule expectations, and margin targets.
- Assist senior leadership with the development of the Ottawa Shared Services platform, helping to coordinate resources across multiple divisions.
- Represent Triumph professionally in the regional market while reinforcing the company’s reputation for quality, reliability, and disciplined project delivery.
