We are a veteran-owned business building a high-performance operation across Savannah and Hilton Head backed by an ownership group with deep operating and strategy experience (including backgrounds at Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte Consulting, and Capgemini) and a track record of successful SMB builds and exits. You’ll have autonomy to run day-to-day execution plus direct access to experienced operators whenever you need support. We expect you to bring solutions and initiative—bring shovels, not dead cats.
The role
This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership. You will run operations across two connected regions, drive sales execution, recruit and supervise the sales team, and lead mobile service technicians to measurable KPI improvement. You’ll also be comfortable building relationships with maintenance leaders and engaging customer executives when needed.

What you’ll own
Operations and KPI execution
- Own dispatch, scheduling, and service execution across Savannah + Hilton Head
- Drive technician productivity: utilization, billable hours, response time, first-time-fix rate, and customer satisfaction
- Reduce windshield time and improve revenue per truck through routing discipline
- Maintain safety, quality, and documentation standards across job sites
- Establish operating cadence: KPI dashboard, team huddles, pipeline review, root-cause problem solving
Sales leadership and growth
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and hold accountable a high-activity sales team
- Drive account acquisition in key verticals (3PL/warehousing, port/logistics, manufacturing, municipal/public works, construction, waste)
- Increase repeat revenue through follow-up, preferred vendor status, PM hose walks, and account penetration
Customer leadership engagement
- Build relationships with customer operations and maintenance leadership, and engage executive stakeholders as needed
- Handle escalations and protect key accounts through fast, professional resolution
Financial and team leadership
- Own P&L levers: pricing discipline, overtime control, inventory health, margin improvement
- Improve invoicing speed, reduce disputes, and coordinate collections support
- Recruit, develop, and retain technicians and sales talent using scorecards and coaching
What we’re looking for
Required
- Based in Greater Savannah, GA or Hilton Head, SC
- Proven operations leadership in industrial services, distribution, manufacturing services, fleet maintenance, logistics/3PL, or construction services
- Experience recruiting and managing teams, including sales accountability
- Confident communicator with customers, including senior leaders
- KPI-driven, hands-on, and execution-oriented
Strong plus
- Military service or military leadership experience
- Experience scaling an SMB, branch, or territory from early stage
- Familiarity with field service dispatch, routing, and mobile technician utilization
- Exposure to hydraulics, industrial maintenance, or heavy equipment environments
What success looks like in 90 days
- Operating rhythm installed (KPIs, cadence, accountability)
- Pipeline rebuilt with consistent prospecting and conversion targets
- Technician productivity improving with measurable reductions in downtime and travel waste
- Strong relationships established with top accounts and clear growth plans
