About the Role
The Operations Coordinator is a key member of Candrone’s operations team, with a strong focus on procurement execution, vendor relations, and accurate ERP/MRP data management. This role is responsible for ensuring timely purchasing activity, maintaining supplier communication, supporting material planning, and contributing to smooth inventory flow across the organization. While procurement is the primary focus, this position also provides cross-functional support to warehouse operations, logistics, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative tasks with hands-on operational support in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time on-site role in our Burnaby office.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Relations
- Manage daily purchasing activities and create accurate POs in ERP (Business Central preferred).
- Maintain vendor relationships, resolve issues, and support cost optimization.
- Request quotes, compare pricing, and monitor delivery timelines.
ERP/MRP Management
- Maintain accurate item, vendor, and pricing data in ERP.
- Review MRP suggestions and generate reports to support purchasing and inventory decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement of ERP workflows and data accuracy.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Assist with receiving, stock checks, and inventory reconciliation.
- Support operational flow with put-away, picking, and packing when needed.
Logistics Coordination
- Communicate with carriers and brokers for on-time deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documents and track inbound/outbound shipments.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to TDG, WHMIS, and customs requirements.
- Prepare procurement and inventory reports; assist with office tasks and special projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or office administration.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory or supply chain tools is an asset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Certifications such as SCMP, CPSM, or CCLP are considered an asset.
Compensation package:
- Competitive salary: $55,718 - $82,875
