About the Position: 

GadellNet is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Operations Coordination Intern to support our Operations and Coordination teams. This internship is ideal for someone interested in customer service, technology, and learning how IT service operations function in a fastpaced environment. The Operations Coordination Intern will assist with intake of client requests, quality checking ticket details, and helping users with simple, lowimpact technical issues. This role is designed to build foundational skills in communication, problemsolving, and technical triage — no prior IT experience required.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm CST.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice of GadellNet. Provide professional, courteous, and accurate communication to all our customers.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with coordination team members, engineers, account managers and other GadellNet employees in a professional manner.
  • Review incoming tickets for accuracy, completeness, and proper categorization.
  • Prioritize level of escalation for all tickets.
  • Enforce request handling and escalation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain vigilance for tickets that represent duplicate issues or requests related to the same user.
  • Maintain a vigilance for identifying and seeking billable/security approval when needed.
  • Help clients with some low impact technical issues remotely. Ex. Quickpass password resets, Monitor issues, rebooting issues etc.
  • Learn and use ConnectWise to review and update ticket information.

 

 

Requirements: 

  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred (retail, hospitality, call center, etc. all count).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi‑task and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Interest in technology and willingness to learn basic IT concepts.
  • Ability to navigate MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Comfort asking questions, seeking clarification, and working collaboratively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on listening, rapport‑building, and problem‑
  • Ability to present ideas in a user‑friendly, business‑friendly manner.
  • Experience working in a team‑oriented environment.

Technical familiarity is helpful but not required. We will train you on terms such as VPN, server, ISP, and how they impact client operations.
