The Opportunity
The Center for Career and Professional Development at the Daytona Beach Campus is seeking an Operations and Events Coordinator to manage front office operations, supervise student employees, and lead the planning and execution of the fall and spring Industry/Career Expo events. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Center, the Operations and Events Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of office or administrative experience preferred.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheets and CRMs; knowledge of Workday is a plus.
Professional demeanor with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and contribute positively within a team environment.
Experience with budgeting and requisitions is highly desirable.
Secondary Job Functions or Duties:
These functions are performed by the position but are considered nonessential or marginal to the primary responsibilities:
Support employer visits, Eagle Job Shadow Day, and other on-campus employer events.
Represent the Center for Career and Professional Development on campus committees and serve as a liaison for visitors and other campus constituents
Job Parameters:
This position may require working hours outside the established normal business hours. Occasional attendance at local conferences, employer events, and on-campus employer events will be required for professional development and to support the Center’s initiatives.
