The Operations Administrative Captain recruitment is an Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) internal recruitment. Only applications from current, non-probationary OCFA Fire Captains will be accepted.
This recruitment process will be used to fill the upcoming Operations Administrative Fire Captain vacancy. The Operations Administrative Captain works directly with the Assistant Chief of Field Operations - South.
WORK SCHEDULE: The Operations Administrative Captain position requires a two (2) year commitment. Operations Administrative Captains are eligible for either a 9/80 or 4/10 work schedule, at the discretion of the Assistant Chief of Field Operations - South.
ADDITIONAL PAY: Per the OCPFAIAFF-Local3631SideLetterAgreement-EligibilityforSAP-SIP, Operations Administrative Fire Captains are eligible for 7.5% Staff Assignment Pay (SAP) and/or 10% Staff Incentive Pay (SIP). Please refer to the IAFF - Local 3631 MOU, page 105 for additional information.
VEHICLE USE: The Operations Administrative Captain has the use of an authority vehicle.
