SUMMARY:
Join our team and play a key role in getting products safely and efficiently to our customers. As an Order Selector, you’ll be responsible for building and wrapping pallets, operating electric pallet jacks, and ensuring every order is accurate and damage-free.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely and accurately select customer orders while meeting weekly productivity and accuracy standards. – Goal: Move 1,000+ cases of products during each shift.
- Build, wrap, and secure pallets for shipment.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and operate electric pallet jacks in a safe manner.
- Use order-selecting software and equipment to move products from racks to pallets with care.
- Verify products for accuracy and quality, ensuring items are damage-free.
- Transport completed orders to the correct dock area and apply shrink wrap as required.
- Work with team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including clearing aisles, stacking empty pallets, and returning equipment to the charging area.
- Perform additional duties as directed.

- Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 1-3 months’ experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
- We value recent experience in active work—like sports, fitness, farming, construction, or patient care—as it helps prepare you for the physical demands of order selecting (see Physical Description).
Skills
- Ability to pass and operate pallet jacks and the Lift Truck Operator Training Course test.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to interpret labels, complete documentation, and follow instructions.
- Comfortable using basic math for counting, measurements, and simple calculations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION & WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This Position is scheduled Sunday – Thursday, starting at 7pm to completion. It requires the ability to work 8+ hours but may be able to leave early if team completes work ahead of the schedule. Working on holidays may be required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance. Must have visual acuity to move safely in warehouse environment, read labels and see other moving equipment, including peripheral vision. The work environment can be loud at times due to various equipment.
- The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, pull 20 to 80 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move more than 100 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to various warehouse temperature environments (dry, cooler, and freezer) that include wet and/or humid conditions, from -10 degrees to 85 degrees.
