Job Summary
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to, establishment of production schedules based on a forecast of major equipment or groups of select items. Schedules are reflected into the MRP module as input, and inventory replenishment orders are approved as output. Other functions include maintaining major equipment records, publishing shop-related reports, monitoring activity of critical inventory items, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Inputs and reviews MRP runs.
- Reviews daily shortage β takes action.
- Prepares reports on critical items.
- Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and e-mail is required.
- Experience with Lotus or equal type spreadsheets necessary.
Education Requirements
- Requires an associate's degree in business or completed course in Production and Inventory Control or equivalent and/or college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
- Two to three years shop experience, one to two years PC planner experience, and one to two years scheduling experience required.
