J Bee’z Truck & Crane Service is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our growing team. We are a family-owned business proudly serving Southern Alberta and the Elk Valley. This position requires operating cranes and boom trucks, performing rigging duties, and assisting with physically demanding tasks when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Liebherr mobile cranes and National boom trucks safely and efficiently
• Perform lifting operations, rigging, and truck driving duties
• Adhere to all company and industry safety standards
• Ensure loads are properly secured, balanced, and transported safely
• Perform a variety of rigging tasks, from routine lifts to complex projects
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and site personnel
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic equipment checks

Schedule

• 10–12 hour workdays
• Overtime available
• Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required

Qualifications & Skills

• Journeyman certification and crane operating experience preferred
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence required
• Clean commercial driver’s abstract (past 5 years)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
