Introduction

This role is part of the service segment of the materials group, focusing on purchasing and project management of powertrain or chassis system service parts. A background in PPAP, APQP, engine assembly, and/or paint processes is highly valued.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project
• Working knowledge of procurement in SAP system
• Understanding of process and design-related cost drivers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior work experience in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of CAD software (CREO and Windchill preferred)
• Experience with product development and purchasing activities
• Experience leading part and component development activities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support product development related to purchasing activity for systems and components
• Analyze and manage components through verification, validation, and product launch
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to designers, technicians, and engineers
