Boeing Commercial (BCA) is hiring for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (K Level) to join the Propulsions SC (PSC) team located in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversees warehouse activities which include warehousing, inventory management, chemical management (HAZMAT), kitting & fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and Powerfeed/Portable Tool Repair.

• Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

• Acquiring resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with Sr. Leaders, customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or materials management.

• 3+ years of experience in a complex multi-functional environment.

• 3+ years of experience leading teams and team development.

• 1+ years of experience with MRP systems.

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

• Experience in facilitating or leading process improvement activities.

• Ability to work alternative shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Experience in lean processes and initiatives.

• Experience interfacing with the Suppliers, Customers and Senior Leadership.

Shift:

This position will be expected to work 1st Shift on most occasions; however, assigned candidate may need to work other shifts to support business needs.

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $107,100 - 144,900
