The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial (BCA) is hiring for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (K Level) to join the Propulsions SC (PSC) team located in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversees warehouse activities which include warehousing, inventory management, chemical management (HAZMAT), kitting & fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and Powerfeed/Portable Tool Repair.
Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquiring resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with Sr. Leaders, customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or materials management.
3+ years of experience in a complex multi-functional environment.
3+ years of experience leading teams and team development.
1+ years of experience with MRP systems.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
Experience in facilitating or leading process improvement activities.
Ability to work alternative shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience in lean processes and initiatives.
Experience interfacing with the Suppliers, Customers and Senior Leadership.

Shift:
This position will be expected to work 1st Shift on most occasions; however, assigned candidate may need to work other shifts to support business needs.
