Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our team. The essential function of this position is to assist the Materials Supervisor regarding daily material requirements. The individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.
Monday to Friday 8:am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm
Wage: $19.20/hr

Primary Responsibilities:
- Keep stock organized and readily accessible.
- Reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notify supervisor of irregularities.
- Perform physical counts of inventory, including weekly top-seal inventory.
- Operate vertical conveyor.
- Move inventory to various locations manually by operating pallet jack, hand cart and fork
- Load and off load trailers and delivery truck.
- Fill and ship orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation.
- Ensure that boxes are stored on trailers or sent upstairs.
- Monitor packaging on the floor with the goal of keeping the warehouse floor clear.
- Pull and verify all materials required for packing samples (clam, boxes and bags, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

High School Graduate, Post- Secondary education preferred.
- Shipping, receiving and inventory experience an asset.
- Be respectful and deal tactfully with customers, other employees and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal time management.
- Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Working Conditions:

Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50 degrees
- The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
- Capable of lifting at least 30 lbs.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills as needed.
