Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Materials Coordinator for a project-based role in Fort McMurray, Alberta starting April 2026. This position follows a 14 days-on & 7-days off rotation, camp accommodations, and flights out of Calgary or Edmonton.

What would you be doing?

  • Ensure that materials are requisitioned using proper procedures from approved suppliers.  
  • Coordinate warehouse and supply chain activities to ensure physical inventories are conducted, material and equipment requests are properly received and accounted for in a timely manner, and materials are stored using orderly, systematic methods.  
  • Work collaboratively with the Supply Chain Management and Operations groups to ensure paper flows on asset tracking and accounts payables functions efficiently.  
  • Conduct continuous exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery to ensure a win-win solution for the vendor and our company.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Materials Coordinator in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in Mechanical or Electrical/Instrumentation projects required. 
  • Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Procurement is an asset. 
  • Proven ability to process work orders, coordinate the ordering, pickup, and delivery of materials, manage inventory, source optimal suppliers and products, and conduct safety inspections to address facility deficiencies. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
