Material Operations Supervisor

Viwinco is seeking a Materials Operations Supervisor to lead and support our material logistics operations team. This individual will supervise daily material movement activities, promote a safe and efficient working environment, and help optimize inventory and logistics processes to support our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist with material movement and logistics across the facility.

• Maintain a safe work environment, including ensuring all Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) operators follow company policies and safety regulations.

• Support production through inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage activities.

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery and support production timelines.

• Ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system and support monthly and year-end physical inventory counts.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve material flow issues and implement process improvements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials control, logistics, or warehouse operations.

• Manage and train Material Handlers across manufacturing departments.

• Strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory reporting systems.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.

• Administer disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy.

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

• Regularly required to move around the manufacturing floor and warehouse areas.
