We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support
our production and inventory teams. In this role, you will be responsible for
moving, loading, unloading, and nesting materials for production and stock,
ensuring materials are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with
established safety and quality standards.
A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.
The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by
assuming the following responsibilities:
* Distribute materials according to production requirements to ensure work
areas are properly supplied.
* Ensure materials are clearly labelled, accurately identified, and stored in
the appropriate locations.
* Inspect materials delivered to production to verify they meet required
specifications.
* Handle materials carefully to preserve quality and prevent damage.
* Receive, locate, and store incoming materials in designated areas.
* Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas while performing general
material handling duties.
* Represent, support, and uphold the company’s Core Values and Management
Philosophy.
* Meet quality, productivity, and safety standards in all daily tasks.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

To successfully meet this challenge, we are looking for a person driven by the

qualifications:
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
* Previous material handling experience, or experience in a similar role, is an
asset.
* Previous forklift experience is an asset.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments.
* Ability to read and understand work instructions, paperwork, and material
labels.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
* Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
* Comfortable working in an environment with dust, varying temperatures, and
strong odours.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while using strong
problem-solving and multitasking skills.
